Event Postponement & Cancellation Refund Policy

This policy governs ticket refunds for events organized in collaboration with Tikiti Technologies. By purchasing a ticket, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions. These terms are legally binding and constitute the entire agreement between the ticket holder and Tikiti Technologies.


1. Event Postponement

  • All purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event.
  • Refunds for postponed events may only be requested within seven (7) working days from the official postponement announcement date.
  • Requests after this period will be deemed invalid, and Tikiti Technologies shall not be obligated to process them.
  • Refunds are subject to:
    • Consultation and approval by the event organizer and Tikiti Technologies.
    • A deduction of applicable transaction fees.
    • Processing time of up to 7 working days, depending on payment method and organizer response.
  • Tikiti Technologies will communicate postponements via:
    • Email and SMS/chat to the contact provided during purchase.
    • Official social media announcements.
  • No liability is accepted for indirect losses such as travel, accommodation, or related costs.

2. Event Cancellation

  • Refunds will be processed after consultation with the event organizer.
  • If ticket funds were used in preparations, refunds will await the organizer's reimbursement to the ticketing account.
  • Refunds will be issued only:
    • To the original payment method used during purchase.
    • For group tickets, refunds go to the purchaser's original payment method.
  • Cancellation notices will be shared via:
    • Email and mobile number (SMS/chat).
    • Official social platforms of Tikiti Technologies.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) working days from the cancellation announcement.
  • Tikiti Technologies shall not be liable for delays caused by the event organizer's inability to refund funds.

3. General Terms

  • Force Majeure: Tikiti Technologies is not liable for cancellations or postponements due to uncontrollable events such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or public health crises.
  • Transaction Fees: All refunds are subject to applicable transaction fees. Buyers waive rights to dispute these deductions.
  • Refund Timelines: Refunds may take up to 30 working days. Tikiti Technologies is not liable for payment processor delays.
  • Non-Transferability: Refunds apply only to the original payment method. Tickets purchased through resale or transfer are not eligible unless approved.
  • Ticket Holder Responsibility: Ensure accurate contact information during purchase. Tikiti Technologies is not responsible for failed communications due to incorrect contact details.
  • Jurisdiction: This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.

4. Communication and Notification

  • Tikiti Technologies will attempt to notify users of event changes via:
    • Email to the address used during purchase.
    • SMS or chat using the provided phone number.
    • Social media updates.
  • Tikiti Technologies is not liable for communication failures due to issues like incorrect contact info, network outages, or spam filters.

By purchasing a ticket, the ticket holder agrees to this policy in full and waives any legal claims except as explicitly outlined.
